Ready or Not, You're Getting Facebook Timeline [Mashable]
Facebook always receives a strong backlash when it forces UI changes onto its users.
There’s still a proportion that don’t mind these changes and embrace them earlier via the opt-in, but those that didn’t embrace Timeline back when the option was made available to users in Sept for devs and December for normal folk.
My opinion is that it’s a great way of being able to easily see what I shared a long time ago, which is their main selling point on the Timeline landing page.
The firm has announced the roll-out across the entire platform for all users so we’ll soon see the typical negative reaction from those adverse to change.
One does wonder though, what did Twitter think about them calling it ‘Timeline’?
